An FPSO is a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel. The offshore oil and Fuel field use FPSO’s for processing and storage of oil and fuel prior to either offloading it to a tanker, or being transported through a pipeline. An FPSO unit functions in tandem with an oil/gasoline system or a subsea template. It then procedures and shops the oil/gas for offloading whenever it is essential. The main rewards come about when an FPSO is used in deep h2o places or in remote sites. In these predicaments laying a pipeline is usually not expense efficient, attractive, or even practical.
